Since Forever

A single line
a blue plane
that stretches from
here to forever.
Surround all my tendrils and vines.
Let me sink and drift
with no aim and no cause.
I will yield to every current and every tide.
Let the salt dissolve
my flesh
until I am just sand on the bottom.
Cast me like a net
and pull me back in.
I will return all the
gold and silver
scattered across the
ocean floor
that has been waiting to be found
since forever and forever and forever.
